Instead of all teams going head to head, we will instead ensure an even number of teams goes against an even number of teams. See the following example:
Los Angeles has 12 teams whereas Las Vegas has 6 teams; all of Vegas’s players will play against 6 of Los Angeles’s teams. Los Angeles’s competing teams will be chosen at random and alternate, so each player gets a chance to play against Las Vegas. Players who are not playing during each round will play a practice round.
We did this to ensure that larger cities do not have an advantage over smaller cities.
